One of those Canadian bands that we listened to a ton while I was growing up. Now, I look back and can’t believe they didn’t make it. They could play anything, any style, and make it work.
Laura Hubert, the singer, is primarily a jazz musician now, I think. Still lives in Toronto.

Nobody really talks about this album much, which is a shame. It’s interesting.
I like how he translated the story of this song to music. It isn’t angry or in your face. It’s quiet, rueful, backward-looking.
