A recent favourite. Funny how things jump out at you suddenly, even after numerous listens, and just hit home.
Thom might be my favourite vocalist of all time. Hard to say for sure, but he’s definitely up there.

Radiohead - Motion Picture Soundtrack
I first heard this song very, very late at night (rather very, very early in the morning). I was laying in bed, in the dark, listening to Kid A at top volume through headphones.
As it went on, the song became more and more entrancing, until finally the sampled harp took it over the edge and I fell in love.
I don’t know that we could ask for a better album conclusion. Or for better lyrics. Or a better concept. From Wikipedia: “Motion Picture Soundtrack was an attempt to emulate the soundtrack of 1950’s Disney films”.

This is probably one of the greatest live performances I have ever seen in my entire life. It’s so spot on, I confuse it with the recorded version.
Paranoid Android by Radiohead.
Thom Yorke probably has the most interesting voice in rock and roll. I’m especially digging the awesome dolphin-echolocation-noises he makes part way through, haha.
When I am king, you will be first against the wall,
